Introduction

Salvation is the most important thing that anyone can have in this life! With genuine salvation comes the knowledge and the assurance that you’re saved. But without the right information, you may continue to live in doubt even after being genuinely saved, or you may think that you’re saved when in fact you not!

Salvation is a topic that must be approached from the biblical standpoint and not about feelings or what is popular or trending in the current culture. To help my readers in navigating this issue, I have discussed in this lesson the three most important questions pertaining to the subject of salvation.

The purpose of this lesson is to provide the believers the knowledge that they need to enjoy the blessing of their salvation. And to help those who are yet to be saved know what they need to be saved. I hope and pray that this is blessing to you.

Salvation is the most important thing that anyone can have in this life!

Genuine Salvation: Why You Need to Be Saved

The reason why many people in the world do not care about salvation is because they have no idea why they need it. This is also why many of those who claim to be saved cannot explain what it means to be saved. So, why exactly do we need salvation? In other words, from what are we being saved?

Sin and Its Consequences

What is Sin? Sin is anything that we think, say, or do that disobeys God. Any form of rebellion against the commandments of God is sin. The Bible says that “All unrighteousness is sin” 1 John 5:17. And you only need to disobey God once to be a sinner. Let’s not forget as well the sin that we inherited from Adam.

The Beginning of Human Sin

God created us in His own image. He created us male and female. He placed us over all the creatures to rule and have dominion over them. Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, were given the choice, the freewill to please God. Unfortunately, they chose to please themselves and sinned against God.

Their disobedience brought sin, shame, and death upon the entire human race.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

All Have Sinned

Lest you think that you have nothing to do with Adam’s transgression, let me remind you that you have sinned too. The Bible is clear that “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23.

Romans 3:10-12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Not me, not you!

To be more specific on this subject of sin, think of hatred, malice, envyings, drunkenness, adultery and fornication, and even lying, as so on. All these acts or behavior are sins. Everyone is guilty of at least one disobedience against the Holy God, and one sin is sufficient to make you a sinner.

So, if the Bible says “all have sinned,” that means I am a sinner, the best or the coolest person you know in this world is a sinner, and you are a sinner too. Because “all” means everyone.

Everyone is guilty of at least one disobedience against the Holy God, and one sin is sufficient to make you a sinner.

The Wages of Sin

Sins have price that must be paid by the sinner. We see this in the case of Adam and Eve. God gave them a straight-forward instruction:

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17 .

The couple disobeyed this clear instruction and they experienced exactly what was promised. First, they lost the close fellowship with God when they were removed from the garden, and then later experienced the physical death which was the result of their choice.

But the consequences of sins go beyond just the physical death.

The Broken Fellowship with God

Whether you know it, believe it, or not, you are created to worship and be in relationship with God. He loves you that much! But sin has hurt the relationship.

Just like Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden where they enjoyed fellowship with God, our sins break fellowship between us and our God.

Isaiah 59:1-4 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. 4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

All these things cause separation between us and God. This separation is so bad that the unsaved sinners are said to be enemies of God, alienated from God by their wicked works (Colossians 1:21).

While being separated from God, the sinner is joined to the wicked world, serving the god of this world. The Bible describes that condition this way:

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Ephesians 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

You do not want to die as a child of wrath, “even as others.” Hence the need for reconciliation, and a Mediator between you and God. The Bible says that on the cross, God reconciled the world unto Himself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19)

So, to get back into relationship with God, everyone needs to go through Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, no one can come unto the Father.

The Ultimate Consequence of Sin

The Bible says that “the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23. That’s bad news. It means that when we sinned against God, we got the death penalty.

Death means separation. A person dies physically when his soul is separated from his body. But “death” in this verse refers to eternal death, just as “life” in the same verse is “eternal.”

Sin can lead to either temporary or eternal death, or both, depending on the decisions made by the sinner before his/her death.

In other words, the ultimate consequence of sin is eternal separation from God. The sinner dies and eventually goes to the lake of fire for all eternity. This is what it means for a person to perish.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The Lake of Fire

All unsaved sinners who died, that is, those who died without Christ, will end up in the lake of fire where they will burn and suffer for all eternity. The Bible calls this “the second death.” If you think this is a joke, think again!

But while you’re still thinking, I want to remind you that the fact that you don’t believe in something does not make it false. The Bible is clear about the existence of a literal place called “the lake of fire.” It is one place that you definitely do not want to go.

The Torment and Restlessness in the Lake of Fire

The tormenting “fire and brimstone” never goes out. The fire is “unquenchable.” Mark 9:44,46. The Bible says concerning those in the lake of fire that “the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night…” Revelation 14:11.

Rather than any ounce of rest, the perished continue their existence in torment, “wailing [loud cries of sorrow; deep lamentation] and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:42,50. Worst of all, their souls will never die but remain in this condition for all eternity future. That is the future age that is outside of time.

The lake of fire is the final destination of the devil and his demons where they will be “tormented day and night for ever and ever.” The Bible calls this “everlasting punishment.”

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

That was the death penalty that we got for sinning against God. The Bible says It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:31.

And this was exactly why God sent Jesus, “his only begotten Son,” to die for the sins of the world so “that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

So, when we talk about being saved, we are talking about being saved from perishing. That is, eternal separation from God, or eternity in the lake of fire which is the ultimate wages of sin.

Can You Escape This?

If you are one of the people who do not believe any of the above, do you have any backup plan in case they turn out to be true, which they are? Think about the passage below:

Hebrews 10:30-31 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

If you explain away sin and its consequences, how do you intend to escape from God’s hands? It is a wise thing to heed God’s instruction now when you still have time to do so. I have shown you why you need to be saved, that is, the eternal torment from which you need to escape.

Next, I will explain to you how to be saved. How to escape this everlasting punishment through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Genuine Salvation: How to Be Saved

Until now I have been talking about sin and its consequences, the suffering and restlessness of the lake of fire. The tone will now change as I talk about the love and compassion of the Just God toward the sinful people, “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9.

Note that the work of our redemption is accomplished apart from us. The typical response of the people after realizing that they’ve done wrong is to try fixing things or fixing themselves, to try doing right. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just not the way out of the problem of sin.

Since “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,” it is impossible for us to be good enough to help or save ourselves. We need someone apart from us who can intercede for us before God. And that is where Jesus Christ comes in.

God must punish sins by death, but it takes a sinless person to die in the place of the sinners. This is exactly what Jesus did for us. And it is all driven by the love of God for all men.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus Christ is God who came in human form, lived in perfect obedience to God the Father, just to be sacrificed in our place. This He did willingly because of His love for us. He “humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:8.

The Just for the Unjust

We deserve to be punished for our sins. But Jesus Christ is our Saviour who died and paid the (death) penalty for our sins on the cross. He suffered, shed His blood, and died in our place. Remember the Bible says that “the wages of sin is death,” that is the price that we owe, and that was the price that Jesus Christ paid on our behalf on the cross.

Isaiah 53:4-6 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Romans 5:6-8 ¶ For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The blood that Jesus sheds on the cross is the ransom for our redemption. The Bible says “we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” Ephesian 1:6-7; Colossians 1:12-14.

But the story does not end with Jesus’ death on the cross.

Christ Rose from the Dead

This is the most amazing part of the story. Christ rose from the dead after three days, according to the scriptures. See Matthew 20:19; 28:1-6; Mark 16:2-7; Luke 24:5-7; John 20:1-9; Acts 2:23-24.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If Christ had died and remained dead, like all the false gods, He couldn’t have been our Saviour, or we would have a dead Saviour. But Christ’s resurrection from the dead completes His works of redemption, our redemption!

The Bible says that Christ “was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans 4:25.

Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Hebrews 10:12-14 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

The above is the simple message of the gospel: that “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day.”

Salvation is by Faith Alone

So, what must I do to be saved? Since we cannot do anything on our own to be justified before God, how exactly do we get saved? This question was asked in the Bible and a simple answer was provided in response:

Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that’s all it takes. This may sound too simple for many people, especially those who are used to doing something to earn something. But salvation works differently!

What It Means to Believe in Jesus Christ

So, what exactly does it mean to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”? That is also simple: it means that you first admit that you are a sinner who cannot save himself, that is repentance. Part of believing in Jesus Christ is taking His Words for it! His Words say that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.

You must also believe that Jesus Christ died to pay (by His shed blood) the penalty of your sins, and that He was buried and He rose again that third day.

That is what it means to believe in Jesus Christ, or to “call upon the name of the Lord.” Romans 10:13. To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour means that you are trusting in the blood that He shed on the cross as the payment for your sins. We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:12-14 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Notice that I mentioned repentance above, this is not about telling people to stop committing sins before they can be saved. This is about turning to God in admission of your sins. And if it is genuine, it will be coupled with the desire to forsake your sins. That is true repentance.

Remember, the Bible says that Christ died for our sins “while we were yet sinners” (Romans 5:8). He did not wait until we have changed our mode of dressing or stopped keeping malice with our neighbors before He died for our sins. He died for those sins while we were still busy committing them.

Faith Comes by Hearing

The Bible says “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. Salvation takes place in the life of a person when he hears and believes “the word of truth,” that is, the gospel of salvation.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Pay attention to God’s way to salvation, the Bible says:

  • you hear the word of truth, that is the gospel of salvation – the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for your sins.
  • you believe, that is trusting in Christ alone
  • and you’re sealed with the Holy Spirit – which obviously is part of being saved

This means you cannot be saved apart from hearing and believing the message of the gospel. Listen to the Bible:

Romans 10:13-14 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Here is the point: you don’t get saved by just praying or repeating a prayer after a preacher. To call upon the name of the Lord means that you are trusting in Him (alone), you believe in Him as your Lord and personal Saviour.

But you must hear something first before you can believe it. And that is what you just heard in this lesson, the gospel.

Do You Believe?

You have heard the message, the word of truth, the gospel of salvation.

Have you admitted that you are a sinner? Do you believe what Christ did for you, as described above? If you don’t just have the head knowledge of the gospel but believe it with all your heart, then you’re saved.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Acts 13:38-39 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

But if you have never trusted in Christ, it is not too late to do so now.  Open your mouth now and talk to God from your heart: tell Him you have sinned and you admit it today. Tell God you believe that Christ died and shed His blood for your sins and rose again. Ask Him to help you live your life for His glory henceforth.

As soon as you believe in Jesus Christ, God will forgive your sins. You will be “born again” into eternal life. That’s why Jesus died and rose again.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

1 John 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Eternal or “everlasting life” is the opposite of eternal death or “everlasting punishment.” The Bible talks about both. But eternal life is what you get when you receive or believe in Jesus Christ. And that is also what you lose if you die without receiving Christ.

The choice is now yours! And this is the most important choice you will ever make in this life.

A Note on Good Works – the Result of Salvation

Before ending this session, I will like to add that the desire to do good works, or to live right, stems from being genuinely saved. This desire will grow in the life of any individual who have truly experienced salvation.

The Unbiblical Outreach

Problems happen when those who are supposedly preaching the gospel, or evangelizing the world, are simply telling others how to live like Christians. In their outreach effort, the gospel preaching is eliminated and replaced with a list of things that the people must do to become Christians.

This makes the people build the foundation of their faith on sinking sand. Telling non-Christians to live like Christians is like building a house without a foundation. They will think that salvation and the Christian life are all about what they do, but that’s not what God intends.

We get saved by faith, and the just live by faith!

God’s Intent for Salvation

The Bible says that it is the grace of God, not works, that brings salvation. But after salvation has come, it teaches us how to live righteously and godly. Read it for yourself:

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The point is that you do not, and cannot, get saved by doing good works, or trying your best to be a good person. The Bible says that our salvation is “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” Titus 3:5.

The only requirement for salvation is faith, that which is produced in us by God. And the faith must be in the finished work of Jesus Christ only.

Salvation is never about what we must do or keep doing, but about what has already been done for us. It is not until we realize this that we can truly experience the salvation offered by God.

The Purpose of Good Works

In response to the above point, questions usually arise such as “what is the purpose of good work?” Or “why should the believer live right or do good works?”

Created Unto Good Works

First of all, we are saved to live for God and not for ourselves.

2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

When submit ourselves to a life that glorifies God, live for Him and not for ourselves, we will have good Christian testimony in this life, and God will be honored. We will enjoy the full blessings of salvation and the victorious Christian life.

1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, 12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

The new life and new nature that we received at salvation produces the desire to honor God in our life. When we respond properly to that desire to live right, it brings blessings back to us.

Good Works Bring Rewards

In addition to the above, all that we do with the right motives in this life will be rewarded in heaven. This ought to be what drives our life choices, that is, the heavenly reward. The more you do for Christ in this life, the more rewards are attainable in the life which is to come!

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

This is why it is important for believers in Christ to live right and be zealous of good works. Our lives will glorify God and we will be rewarded on the last day. So, if you’re saved today, see that your life proclaims the love and glory of Christ.

If you go out to tell others about Christ, please do not give them a list of things to do to be saved. Simply share the gospel with them, tell them about the problem of sin and what Christ has done to address it and encourage them to believe.

But if you’re yet to be saved, it is not too late to believe. You can believe today and get saved, even now!

Genuine Salvation: What It Means to Be Saved

I’ve covered the reasons why we needed to be saved, and how to get saved. Now I want to address what it means to be saved. If you claim to be saved, what does that mean? How has your status or standing changed from being unsaved to now being saved?

This is an important question that many people do not even think about.

Putting it All Together

The question of why we need salvation is important to answering the question of what it means to be saved. I will like to quickly run through some of the points from the first section of this lesson:

Because of our sins, we were separated from God, dead in trespasses and sins. But not only that, we earned the death penalty, “the wages of sin is death,” and that’s eternal death.

This was the problem for which we needed a solution. We needed to be reconciled to God, and we needed someone who will pay our death penalty. Jesus Christ did all that. The Bible says if we believe in Him, we will be saved. (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-14). We have believed in Him and now we are saved.

What It Means to Be Saved

What this means is that we are now reconciled to God. No longer His enemies, but now His beloved children. Plus, our death penalty has been paid in full. The price was the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross when He died for our sins.

When we believed in Him, we were redeemed from eternal death and granted the gift of eternal life. Remember, the same verse that says that the “wages” of sin is death also says that “the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23. This is a promise to those who trust in Christ alone.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

In short, to be saved means that God has forgiven you your sins, you’re fully reconciled to Him, you have received the gift of eternal life, and you will go to heaven when you die.

I covered this point more extensively in another Post where I discussed 14 major things that happened to you when you got saved. Please see What It Means to Be Saved for details.

The Knowledge and Assurance of Salvation

So, after being saved, there is no point in hoping, wishing, or praying for God to count you worthy for heaven. You got heaven when you got saved.

Let me give a little caution here: I’m speaking of those who are genuinely saved. Not just about anyone who claims to be a Christian. If you are truly saved, you’ve got eternal life. Very soon, I’m going to show you from the Bible.

The False Conversion

Unfortunately for many people, they think that being born again means that you join a Church where you will begin doing the works that will help you get to heaven.

And since they are not sure whether or not they have done enough, they never had any assurance. That is what happens when you lack the right knowledge, or when you’re trusting in the wrong thing! It’s called false belief and has no biblical basis.

The True Conversion

But what the Bible teaches is that you got heaven when you believed, that’s part of being saved.

At the moment of belief, the believer is immediately reborn, translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13). And there is nothing that can bring condemnation to you.

If you have the good understanding of why you needed to be saved, and the knowledge of how to be saved, you will know exactly what it means to be saved. God wants us to be saved and also know that we are saved.

It is a shame to see people who claim to be saved but have no assurance whatsoever, whether they will go to heaven or not. This is either the result of the ignorance of what it means to be saved or the lack of genuine salvation.

The Bible says that those who believe in Jesus Christ can know that they have eternal life. Read it for yourself:

1 John 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

You got eternal (not temporary) life when you believed. The Bible says that those who do not believe in this record make God a liar:

1 John 5:10-11 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

So, if you are genuinely saved, you can be grateful and rejoice in the knowledge and assurance of your eternal life. No need to doubt or be uncertain about your eternity. That has been settled in Christ Jesus.

Conclusion

Genuine salvation is based solely on faith. Faith comes from hearing the word of God and believing it. You must be able to evaluate your salvation (if you claim to be saved) by the three questions addressed in this lesson. Your ability to rightly process these questions will enhance your knowledge and assurance.

Above all, know that trusting in Christ is what makes and keeps you saved. Live in that assurance while you “yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” Romans 6:13.

Surrender your life to God completely and let Him use you and live through you. “Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18.

But if you’re not saved, or are not sure about your salvation, you can take care of it today, even now! Jesus Christ is calling and waiting for you to respond.
